Memory Replacement

Today is 9/11's 10th anniversary. I guess that's why, when I went out for a walk at 9pm, I saw this giant light pillar extending straight into the night sky above. It was so strong, as though piercing through the darkness.

I Cant believe how fast it has been; 10 yrs, felt like 10 mins. I can still remember the day when we were sitting in our JH classrooms, and the teachers suddenly rushed in to close all the shades. At that time, it had only been 1 month since I arrived in America. Fear and confusion was all I felt during the chaotic day.

Tears been shed, words exchanged, time has washed away the pains of many but memories remained.
